This so-called "cardiac equilibrium" function means that the feet and the heart are on an imaginary horizontal line. This minimizes the load on the heart, which feels very soothing. You can also recline the seat without using the footrest. The back reclines with the seat.
The electric motors are powered by a rechargeable battery, so no cords run through the floor during use. Depending on the model, the control buttons are integrated into the seat or the armrest (front left). The upper part of the backrest, against which the head rests, can be adjusted back and forth (top swing), so that the head is comfortably supported in any position. The adjustment is done manually as standard, but there are models where it can be done electrically.
