Armchair - geometric - Polygon

When we began the design process, our fascination with the modernist standard typology of compact chairs, combining functionality and uncluttered space, was evident.

We then explored several alternatives in this line, while seeking to introduce a new innovative approach. This is how Polygon was born, maintaining the traditional elements of a modern armchair, but reinventing their relationship through a bold deconstruction.

The bent steel bar frame, seat and back, all coordinated in a triangular geometry, create a striking appearance when viewed from the side. However, when the viewer changes perspective, these shapes transform into complex hexagonal and polygonal patterns.

The result is simply disconcerting, offering a subtle blend of familiarity and a decidedly contemporary look.
